Choices has been a project in the works for about a year.
In 2016, I completed a renovation to my working studio. The process was a fascinating blend of both the technical and artistic aspects of music. I would spend hours organizing room frequencies in spreadsheets, moving acoustic baffles, and then recalculating all over again. While indeed a time-consuming process, the end result has been phenomenal.
Like anything in life, new ventures open new doors. In the thick of things, we fail to appreciate the lessons we are learning. Once finished the studio renovation, my understanding of sound was at a new level. As I began testing guitar sounds, I quickly realized that a new chapter had just begun.
