The process. Every couple is different with music. Some have very specific ideas. Others want a little more help.

I enjoy taking the time to develop the playlist you’re looking for. We’ll meet, run through material and figure out what works. If you like, we can also meet four to eight weeks prior to the ceremony to do a final run-through of major cues.

Fees and performance duration. I charge a flat fee for up to 2.5 hours of playing. This fee varies with travel and sound requirements. I can work to fit most budgets. Most couples utilize the entire 2.5 hours. I start 30 minutes before the ceremony and continue for pre-reception cocktails. This usually involves one location change.

Sound equipment. I provide all the necessary sound equipment. I work with both Gibson and Fender guitars, run through a BOSE L1 system. It’s a very sleek, compact and virtually invisible set-up that provides an extremely warm and dramatic sound for the day.

Live in Studio (2012) — Instrumental Guitar Performance Recording.

I took some time in December 2012 to do a live studio performance. I wanted to have a good quality recording of a diverse live set. This one covers material that can be used for everything from the pre-ceremony to cocktail hour.

A realistic performance recording was the main goal here. We took a lot of time with set up, to capture the best blend of intimacy and size, then I performed one single set. No retakes. No fixing mistakes. No overdubs. Just one guitar and a hi-hat. The delay you hear was done live through a delay pedal and into the board.

All songs except “Fading Light” are for audition purposes only. Not for sale or distribution.

Other recordings — Instrumental Guitar.
