wedding guitarist toronto, niagara, ottawa, new york, canada, U.S.A.

There’s a certain sound that just works well for weddings. It covers the spectrum from dreamy and romantic, to happy and upbeat. It nods its head to the past, but is firmly planted in the present.

Most couples I work with want something extremely personal. It’s standard practice for me to learn one unique song for each couple.

Building your wedding soundtrack. I draw from a wide variety of material. There are 10 original songs I’ve composed specifically for weddings. There are also over 60 cover songs, featuring some of the artists below.

Instrumentals 2016 — Instrumental Guitar Performance Recordings.

This year I’ve started a new project.

For some time now, I’ve wanted to build a library of performance recordings that truly reflect the nature of my work. Since my last instrumental guitar recording, I have performed at hundreds of weddings and corporate events. Working with so many different Clients has greatly expanded my playlist and range of styles.

With the aid of a new recording facility and great sounding room, I’m able to work regularly at capturing each song at its best.

Everything you hear on these recordings is achievable in a live setting exactly as performed here. I make use of percussion instruments (hi-hat and kick-drum) by playing them with my right foot. All of the sound changes, both dramatic and subtle, are done live via a delay pedal and an effect unit.

I will be building this library two songs at a time, and will add to it every two to three weeks. You can also receive updates via E-MAIL, TWITTER, or FACEBOOK.

All songs are for audition purposes only. Not for sale or distribution.

Live in Studio (2012) — Instrumental Guitar Performance Recording.

I took some time in December 2012 to do a live studio performance. I wanted to have a good quality recording of a diverse live set. This one covers material you might hear at a wedding, dinner, cocktail party, or just about anything in between.

A realistic performance recording was the main goal here. We took a lot of time with set up, to capture the best blend of intimacy and size, then I performed one single set. No retakes. No fixing mistakes. No overdubs. Just one guitar and a hi-hat. The delay you hear was done live through a delay pedal and into the board.

All songs except “Fading Light” are for audition purposes only. Not for sale or distribution.
