The tradition resumes…

After two long years, I’m happy to announce some annual traditions coming back in the mix.

Mother’s Day at the Burleigh Falls Inn (Burleigh Falls, ON, Kawartha) has always been the official start to the event-performance season for me. During that last few months, I’ve been studiously meeting with event and wedding clients—getting back up to speed with a whole different set of music. This early May performance is the first chance to stretch the legs of these songs back in front of a live audience.

It’s an absolute pleasure to be back 🙂

Mother’s Day is a bittersweet time for me. My mother passed away in 2008, so it’s definitely a reflective experience. I try to imagine songs she might enjoy or find unexpected for an occasion like this. On top of that, the audience is so diverse. The day always turns out to be a creative, unique and personally-moving event. Expect everything under the sun. Acoustic masterpieces from Led Zeppelin and the Tea Party, to elegant numbers from Neil Young and the Eagles. For the more youthful, I’ll switch gears to Paramore, Harry Styles and The Black Keys.

It’s always a great show with something for everyone. Not to mention the phenomenal food and friendly service that make the Burleigh Falls Inn such a warm place to visit.

RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED. (Visit the Burleigh Falls Inn for more information)

I look forward to seeing you there.
