Some great shows coming up this month.
In what is becoming a yearly tradition, I’m back up at Irwin Inn on Stoney Lake for some Valentine’s performances. This year, since Valentine’s falls mid-week, we’re splitting up the performances; one on Saturday the 11th, and one on Saturday the 18th.
I’m looking forward to getting back up to the Inn. Everyone had a great time on New Year’s Eve. It was the inaugural performance with my new Gibson Hummingbird, so there was a great deal of excitement about the evening from my end. And Patti, Jen, Dennis and all the staff at Irwin Inn always go the extra mile to make these occasions memorable.
On Tuesday the 14th I’m traveling to Haliburton to perform at McKeck’s for a special Valentine’s Day Evening. I’ve been looking forward to performing here for ages. Owner Karen Frybort and I have been trying to connect for years. She has done some amazing things with the place. Local media have also been extremely supportive of the event. Canoe FM is currently spinning the recent iTunes release “Stars & Stripes,” along with the upcoming release “Will you be True?” I will also be doing an interview on the Morning Show with Mike Jaycock on Wednesday February 8th at around 8:10 a.m. Click here for Canoe FM’s online broadcast.
