I had a great show a couple of weeks ago at the Pastry Peddler (Millbrook, ON). It was a packed house throughout the entire session. I like these kinds of shows. People are relaxed and open to new things on a lazy Sunday.

I’m starting to get a good feel for performing Choices in a live setting. While these songs start out with just a guitar and a voice, one gets attached to the subtleties that bring everything to life in finished album. Recalibrating them back to their roots takes some adjustment.

They seem to be connecting well, and a few CDs managed to find new homes.

February has a couple of good public shows on the docket. Both will be very different. The Pastry Peddler show (Millbrook, ON) will be focused on vocals and original material. The Valentine’s show at the Burleigh Falls Inn (Burleigh Falls, ON) will include a mix of instrumental and vocal material—tinged towards the more romantic.
