This is a cool shot from a number of years ago on Stoney Lake, ON.
We were returning from a show at Viamede Resort (Stoney Lake, ON). It was a very unique wedding performance. The ceremony was at the Church on the Rock, and could only be accessed by boat. The following cocktail hour was at Viamede Resort.
I recall it being a huge lesson in logistics; opening me up to the idea of reducing the number of guitars for certain events. (Yes, I know. A complete travesty.)
To me, it’s a fitting shot as we approach Canada’s 150th birthday. It doesn’t take more than five minutes of seeing the news to realize just how lucky we are to live here.
I’m happy to be performing two public shows for Canada Day Weekend. It will be a pleasure to share the occassion in a setting that couldn’t be more Canadian.
