The last few months have been fruitful.
There were two simultaneous veins of focus. One was private event and wedding work; the other public singer/songwriter performances.
Highlights in the private event space included a wedding with Ashley Pigott Events on Lake Joseph, a corporate event at Chateau des Charmes Winery, and a near brush with chaos in Ottawa during the tornado.
Singer/songwriter performances saw many high points. I had a chance to perform at an intimate private theatre in Huntsville, along with great shows at Muskoka Steamships, the Lantern, and the Burleigh Falls Inn.
Begrudgingly, I opened the door to someone’s suggestion of live video and audio recording. Shows have always been a sacred place to me, and I’ve been reticent to add the element of self-reflection. That said, I dove in, and have been hard at work combing through the footage.
Having always focused on original songwriter work, I’ve switched gears and delved into covers first. Below you’ll find the inaugural video of Riders on the Storm (Live @ The Lantern) along with its accompanying audio. There’s also an audio recording of Three Birds (Live in Studio).

I’m looking forward to getting back to the Pastry Peddler on Sunday November 4th. This is a great-sounding, comfortable place to play. I’m currently rehearsing a new album, and this will be ground zero. Though it includes a number of existing staples, there are four new songs I’m excited to debut: Lines of You, Forever Monday, Rinse & Repeat, and Rock ‘n’ Roll Queen.
