Filming Junction 28.

I had a great opportunity last Tuesday to be a part of the television program Junction 28. We filmed a 30-minute segment to be aired this coming fall on TV Cogeco in Peterborough. My six-song set included Angel, One Way, Stars & Stripes, Cities & Mountains and Will You Be True?. Produced by CBC’s John Lewis, the creative format featured room to delve a little deeper into the stories behind the songs. Many thanks to John Lewis and the entire crew @ TV Cogeco. Everyone was extremely kind and did an amazing job. Both the sound and visuals were fabulous.

Trinity College Chapel, University of Toronto - July 2011

The Church of Sound.

As part of a wedding in Toronto on Saturday, I had the opportunity to perform at Trinity College Chapel at the University of Toronto. The Bride and I were at the Chapel a week prior and had a preview of this amazing location. For me, one strum of the guitar, and it was over. The most expensive reverb machines in the world couldn’t touch the natural sound in this room. When combined with the wedding on Saturday, the Church was absolutely incredible. Many thanks to Cliff at the University of Toronto for his assistance with the day.

Hi-fi Wedding.

Saturday was one of the best sounding weddings I’ve ever been a part of. After the ceremony at Trinity College Chapel, I went down to set up for the cocktail performance at The Steam Whistle Brewery across from the Roger’s Centre. Another beautiful room, the sound in here was amazing. Many thanks to Dan for his great work behind the board, and to Laurie and Joseph for having me as part of their day.
