As a wedding and special event guitarist, you share in a lot of incredible moments from a unique vantage point.

Creating the live soundtrack for the day, you’re very much a part of the fabric of things–so much so that you blend in seamlessly. There are so many interesting moments. Setting up before a ceremony, as the Groomsmen and Groom nervously meander about. And this moment above, loading out at the Island Yacht Club on Toronto Island. We were just hanging out waiting for the ferry as the wedding party took photos. You could see, hear and sense the joy. All the hard work that had gone into the preparations had paid off with a picture perfect ceremony. You could almost feel the sense of release and excitement as everyone looked forward to the evening ahead.

It’s a real honour and tremendous pleasure to be a part of so many moments like this.

The last month has seen some great events. There have been a lot of new venues: A private residence in Bobcaygeon, Alton Mill (Caledon, ON), Miller Lash House (Toronto, ON), Edgewater Manor (Stoney Creek, Niagara, ON), and Brooklands Farm (Bracebridge, Muskoka, ON). It has also been great to see some familiar faces during return performances at Malaparte (Toronto, ON), Windermere House (Muskoka, ON), Inn on the Twenty (Jordan, ON) and the Sherwood Inn (Muskoka, ON).
