Thank you Jake for making our wedding day so memorable. You are an extremely talented musician and we were delighted you could be part of our day. Our guests are still complimenting your talent. We wanted our wedding ceremony to depict us as a couple, including song choices that have more meaning to us than traditional wedding music. Your wide range (and appreciation) of music selections made this extremely easy for us to work with. Thank you again!!

Performer’s notes: The perfect balance at Thompson Landry Gallery.

Nicole and Tim’s wedding at the Thompson Landry Gallery was my first chance to perform in the Distillery District. Needless to say, everything was phenomenal. The ceremony took place in the Stone Building, followed by cocktails in the Cooperage Building.

One of the most unique spaces in which I’ve performed, the Thompson Landry Gallery strikes a great balance: both intimate and expansive at the same time. The old brick, metal, stone and wood structures provide for a tremendous sense of intimacy and warmth.

Working with Nicole and Tim was an absolute pleasure. Their passion for music rivaled my own. Not to mention our shared affinity for Harvest Moon (Neil Young) which they chose for their signing song. Other selections blended a unique combination of contemporary and classic, ranging from Coldplay and the Dave Matthews Band to Elvis and Fleetwood Mac.

It was an incredible pleasure to be a part of the day.
