New live instrumental guitar recording.

I hope everyone is doing okay during these interesting times.

All we can do is play our part and move forward. From my end, I’m trying to take some time and tend to some long-neglected music projects. One of these entails instrumental guitar recordings. This particular one was done for a wedding client in Muskoka last summer.

I often do custom songs for ceremonies and special cues. In 2019, a couple wanted a rendition of ‘Mine’ by Bazzi. It was their first dance, accompanied by a family-member on vocals.

I loved the challenge with this particular song—it’s a contemporary track that strays about as far away from acoustic guitars as you can get. We referenced some different live versions and found a unique way through it. It has a strong riff and sway that translated perfectly to the instrument.

For me, it’s a great example of just how creative you can get with an acoustic guitar.
